WWII engineering meets New Zealand craftsmanship – handcrafted by Imperial Shell Works.

The German Tiger I tank was one of the most feared machines of WWII. Its thick armour and powerful 88 mm gun made it a battlefield legend — and a nightmare for Allied crews who faced it. Even today, the Tiger is remembered as an icon of armoured warfare.

Here we’ve recreated a section of its formidable tracks at 1:3 scale, mounted on a solid Rimu plinth. Heavy-duty timber, engraved with our Imperial Shell Works mark and the silhouette of the Tiger itself. Each set of links is 3D printed with interlocking detail, then hand-finished and waxed for a professional display.
